Privacy policy

What we store

• Your account: email address or LinkedIn name and member ID, timezone, and preferences.
• Past posts you paste to build your voice profile, and the style summary made from them.
• Stories you save, including voice memos and their transcripts.
• Drafts, the sources you write from, and the posts you finalize or schedule.
• Usage records for each AI request, used to enforce plan limits and understand costs.

Who processes your data

• Google Gemini and Groq generate and transcribe text. On their free tiers, Google may use prompts to improve its products. Prompts can include your pasted posts, stories, and sources.
• Supabase hosts the database, sign-in, and file storage.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• Microsoft Clarity, only if you say yes in the cookie notice, records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling, where people get stuck) so we can improve them. Text you write inside the app, such as drafts and posts, is masked and never recorded. You can change your answer any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
• Our email provider sends sign-in links and account notices.
• LinkedIn receives posts you approve, when you connect your account.
• Dodo Payments processes payments as our merchant of record. We never see or store your card or UPI details.

Chrome extension

The Postifyy Chrome extension does nothing until you click it. When you do, it opens Postifyy with the address of the page you are on, a link you right-clicked, or text you highlighted, and sends nothing else. It does not read, store or track your browsing.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account from Settings. This removes your profile, voice-profile posts, stories, drafts, and your LinkedIn connection. We keep a one-way hash of your email or LinkedIn ID so the free trial cannot be claimed twice, and anonymous usage totals.
